I trained for a Masters in Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy and qualified with a distinction, following extensive NHS experience as an occupational therapist working in plastics and reconstructive surgery as a hand therapist.
In addition to osteopathy (and occupational therapy), I am a qualified craniosacral therapist and hold a qualification in medical acupuncture. I am a member of the Institute of Classical Osteopathy, having completed postgraduate training with them and I keep up to date with research and best practice by volunteering for the National Council of Osteopathic Research (NCOR), summarising research evidence for busy practitioners. This work was recognised by the Institute of Osteopathy in 2016 and I was awarded a 'Highly Commended' prize at the annual conference.
When I am not practising as a clinician at Sheen Therapy Centre, I am a clinic tutor and osteopathic lecturer at the University College of Osteopathy in London (formally BSO)
I am fully Accredited and Registered [GOsC 8764] as an Osteopath, a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and have comprehensive liability insurance.
I am interested in all aspects of osteopathy and will use a range of techniques to help you achieve your treatment goals and manage your symptoms, including osteopathy, cranial osteopathy and classical osteopathy, always ensuring a truly holistic, osteopathic and patient-centred approach.
